Fix your store page before you buy ads
The store page is where the money goes
Every paid channel ends in the same place: your App Store or Google Play page. If ten people land there and one downloads, doubling your ad budget only doubles a leaky result
That is why we look at the store page before we touch an ad account. A better page makes every channel cheaper at once
What we look at first
The first three screenshots, because most people never scroll past them. The title and subtitle, because they decide which searches you show up for. Reviews and ratings, because people read them before they tap download
We also check every country you sell in. A page that works in the US often falls flat in Germany or Brazil without changes
Screenshots that sell the result
Most screenshots show features. The ones that convert show what changes for the user. "Track your workouts" is a feature. "Get stronger in 12 weeks" is a result
For a music app we worked with, rebuilding the screenshots around the benefit was a big part of moving store conversion from 14% to 19%
Then turn on the ads
Once the page converts better, the same ad budget brings more downloads and more paying users. That is the moment to start spending, small at first
